What is Stage Presence?

It is a program designed to develop your authenticity, confidence, and stage impact through the performing arts. Using theatre, dance, voice, and improvisation, you will learn to capture the audience’s attention and convey your emotions with precision. These workshops combine artistic techniques with personal development tools to help you overcome fears, embrace vulnerability, and enhance creativity. Whether you are a professional or an amateur, you will strengthen your stage presence, using clowning as a playful and expressive tool.

Intensive Workshop (1): Being Present

Stage Coaching with Clown and Theatre Techniques

Reconnect with the artist within you—your character, your clown, your poetry—and share it with the audience. Together, we explore all dimensions of your creativity and potential.

Are you ready to connect with the audience, embrace authenticity, and be vulnerable to move spectators while performing?

We provide the tools to express this. Immerse yourself for over 5 days to strengthen your stage performance.

Engaging with your inner self will allow you to release emotions, share joy or sorrow, rediscover yourself, and express feelings in new ways. You will emerge with enhanced artistic and interpersonal skills.

Meet the artist within you, your inner child, and celebrate life’s joy with them.

Nonviolent Communication (CNV): CNV is a way of approaching life and a method where dialogue is prioritized, allowing each person to express mutual respect through sharing emotions and needs/values. Beyond clown art, CNV serves as an invisible thread throughout the workshop.

Our Approaches & Tools

We combine stage arts practices with relational tools to develop a grounded, authentic, and creative stage presence.
  • Physical and sensory theatre: explore movement, sensations, and body awareness to enrich stage expression.
  • Stage improvisation and present-moment listening: cultivate spontaneity, responsiveness, and creative freedom in the moment.
  • Authenticity, vulnerability, and interaction: learn to be yourself on stage and create a genuine connection with your audience.
  • Breath, rhythm, voice, gaze: work on breathing and vocal energy to fully inhabit the space and capture attention.
  • Contemporary clown tools: use clowning as a sincere, liberating, and creative means of expression, accessible to all.
  • Nonviolent Communication (NVC): fosters listening, relational quality, and a safe environment for artistic exploration.

Actor, trainer, and artistic coach for over 25 years, Istvan trained with Marcel Marceau and Jacques Lecoq and now leads Compagnie Les Clowns. He runs these workshops to share what he has discovered: that clowning is not just the art of laughter, but a powerful way to unlock authenticity, confidence, and vulnerability. He offers these workshops to help everyone find and shine their presence, both on stage and in life.
